Our teeth whitening treatment

We offer a custom home whitening treatment which allows our patients to whiten their teeth in the comfort of their own home.

Each patient will be given a set of trays which are custom made from impressions that we take of your teeth. This is important in order to prevent leakage of the whitening bleach onto the soft tissues of the mouth and it also ensures that the trays are comfortable to wear.

The trays are worn for a few hours each day, and the full whitening effects should be seen in approximately two weeks. We currently use White Dental Beauty’s ‘Novon’ range or ‘Poladay’ and ‘Polanight’ and naturally we will discuss the most appropriate treatment option during your consultation. As you’d expect, we will always be available during your treatment, should you have any questions or concerns.

The effects of the whitening treatment will last for a number of months, and the procedure can be repeated as often as you wish, with no detriment.

It is worth noting that this treatment is significantly more effective that the use of teeth whitening toothpastes which are strictly limited, by law, in the amount of the active ingredient they can include. Any improvements made using whitening toothpastes are likely to be very limited. So if you are really serious about having whiter teeth, please contact our team to see how we can help.

For patients who wish to whiten their smile, but in a subtle manner, the treatment can be adjusted to suit your requirements.
